Intaglio group monoprints

One of the first blog posts I did for liverpoolprintmakers was a glimpse at the work of an intaglio group who have been coming and creating work in the Bluecoat print studios for years. After speaking to them for a while they asked if I would like to come and join them in their printing and I happily said yes! Here are the results of my first printing session with them.

These are monoprints onto Fabriano, using intaglio inks and zinc plates. 

All printers in Liverpool should check out the Bluecoat print studios. Sessions are cheap, the staff friendly, and the community amazing!
