Katie works with printing, plaster and textiles, mainly to experiment with. She is a member of Re-View Textile, writes and tweets for the Bluecoat Print Studios and on rare occasions even plays the violin.
About
Katie grew up in Shropshire but escaped to the urban wonderland of Manchester at the tender age of 17. After a few years, a French degree and her first real job, she went to Manchester School of Art and completed a fine art foundation year (see the results here), winning the drawing prize. She then moved to Liverpool to see what else the North West had to offer.
